Information on the current version of TDA and its history is available in history.txt.

Most files in the subdirectories are compressed zoo archives. If you do not have access to appropriate archiving tools you can find a DOS executable version of zoo in the utilities subdirectory. The same directory contains booz20.tar.gz, the source for extracting zoo archives.

Distribution

The program in its current version is distributed as FREEWARE under the terms of the GNU General Public Licence (GPL), see the file COPYING contained in this directory, and can be distributed freely according to this licence.

NOTE: The TDA source contains some functions, or parts of functions, that have been taken from published sources. Whenever this is the case it is explicitly noted in TDA's source code and the User's Manual. The copyright for these parts is, of course, with their authors.

Disclaimer

We hope that the program will prove to be efficient and reliable. However, as with all complex programs it is impossible to test all run-time conditions that may eventually arise. Most probably, there are still some errors in the current version of the program. Therefore, we have to add the following disclaimer: TDA is distributed without any warranty; without even the implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
